Grigoris advises on the full spectrum of financial services and products regulation. He assists leading banks, investment firms, asset managers, funds, insurance and reinsurance undertakings, and other market participants in the wider financial services sector doing business in and out of Cyprus, helping them navigate issues of licensing, product distribution, financial promotion, public offerings, and regulatory compliance.

In parallel with his work in traditional finance, Grigoris has built a significant practice advising on emerging financial technologies and the crypto-assets sector. He advises major crypto exchanges and crypto-asset service providers from the EU, the USA, and Asia, and has been entrusted to structure and implement their expansion strategies as they extend into traditional financial under the evolving regulatory framework.

Beyond financial regulation, Grigoris’ expertise extends to data protection, intellectual property, technology, public procurement, and e-commerce, as well as a broad range of corporate and commercial law matters. His multidisciplinary approach enables clients to navigate the intersection of finance, innovation, and regulation with confidence.

Grigoris has authored and co-authored numerous articles and guides in the areas of data privacy, merger control, and intellectual property. Most notably, he is a co-author of both the first and second editions of Community Trademark Regulation: A Commentary and Community Design Regulation: A Commentary (published by C.H. Beck and Nomos), comprehensive reference works designed to assist practitioners across the EU.
