  • The firm advised a leading global technology (listed in an US regulated market) and innovation company on export controls, regulatory compliance, licensing, and commercial matters in connection with establishing operations in Cyprus. Following the firm’s strategic advice and detailed regulatory analysis, the multinational successfully established its presence in Cyprus, marking a significant milestone project of national and international importance.
  • The firm advised Primetel (a leading company in the telecom sector) on complex EU regulatory and intellectual property enforcement issues as part of a coordinated European initiative by major telecom providers to combat illegal streaming and video piracy. Its work included developing legal strategies and assessing the viability of novel dynamic blocking injunctions in Cyprus, addressing unprecedented legal and regulatory questions with significant implications for IP enforcement in the jurisdiction.
  • Represented successfully a leading game developer in a dispute over a mobile device game with over 100,000,000 active users (one of the global leaders in its category), in the course of which injunctions were secured to return the game to the developer.
  • Represented successfully an investor in complex high value tech litigation concerning IP rights over an AI-powered online application.
  • Represented successfully a leading provider in an IP dispute over an alleged IP infringement in online training courses.
  • Represented successfully an UHNW individual in a family dispute over the separation of a multinational tech company, in the course of which injunctions were secured to freeze the assets.
  • Representing our client who was one of co-founders of a multinational group in connection with a dispute with his former business partners. The client claims that he was wronged in the course of his exit from the cryptocurrency mining business with the aim to recover the value of the shares he sold in the company and damages. At this stage, various offensive and defensive strategy options in various relevant jurisdictions are being considered and analysed for the client. The dispute exceeds USD 3billion.
  • Our firm has been advising on the various options available in Cyprus including options for obtaining information and evidence in Cyprus as well as options for pursuing interim and/or substantive proceedings in Cyprus.
